DAS DORF DER VERGESSLICHEN (2018)
Demenzpatienten aus Europa, inmitten eines thailändischen Dorfes. Hier im Norden Thailands werden sie Tag und Nacht gepflegt und versorgt. In Paaren bewegen sich Patienten und Pfleger durch die Straßen des Dorfes – für die Bürger von Faham ist das ein alltägliches Bild. Die Kulturen könnten kaum unterschiedlicher sein – und doch funktioniert der eine nicht ohne den anderen. Der Film erzählt vom Zusammenleben, vom Vergessen und Erinnern, von Liebe und Freundschaft.
Das Dorf der Vergesslichen feierte seine Premiere auf dem Max-Ophüls Filmpreis 2018

DIE PAUSE – Episode des 90min. Kinderfilms Grenzenlos (2018)
Die Episode “Die Pause” ist ein 8-minütiger Kurzfilm und eine Mischung aus Dokumentarfilm und Animation, welcher im Rahmen des MISSING MOVIES PROJECT entstand, einer internationalen Initiative zur Produktion nonverbaler Kurzfilme für geflüchtete Kinder im Alter von 4-10 Jahren. Ins Leben gerufen durch das Goethe-Institut.

NATURA URBANA (2017)
NATURA URBANA|THE BRACHEN OF BERLIN erzählt die Nachkriegsgeschichte Berlins anhand der Pflanzen in der Großstadt. Der Film nimmt uns mit zu den Trümmerlandschaften der Stadt und ihrer einzigartigen Ökologie zu den verlassenen Dächern des Wasserwerks von Friedrichshagen am Rande der Stadt. In Natura Urbana Dem Film dient die sich ändernde Vegetation Berlins als Grundlage einer parallelen Geschichte der Kriegszerstörung, geopolitischen Teilung und der neuesten Phase der städtischen Transformation.

A documentary about beach boys in paradise who imagine paradise somewhere else. Low Season tells the story of an encounter with Sony a beach boy in Bali who dreams about leaving the island one day to find a better life in the West. A documentary with fictional elements about hopes, dreams and expectation in a globalized world.
